The mV (ORP) electrodes can be used with all Aqua Medic mV measuring units, but as well with most compatible standard instruments with a BNC port.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor regular check-up and calibration, we recommend to use the Aqua Medic test fluids. The protective cap contains KCI solution which can leak during transport and storage, forming crystalline, white potassium chloride.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis salt layer has no influence on the measuring ability and can be easily rinsed off with water. Prior to first use, immerse the probe in aquarium water for 12-24hrs.
